Excursions and Nature Walk

An integral part of Newbies curriculum is regular bush excursions. We have a number of local areas available to visit that offer us unlimited nature experiences. All age groups are able to participate in nature excursions and children make their own decisions about whether they want to take part.

Spending regular time on bush excursions provides children with numerous additional experiences. The learning that we notice happening as a result of these trips is rich and exciting. On excursions the children imaginative play is enhanced and teachers are constantly amazed at the variety of games and discoveries that are made.
